Missouri S&T is committed to helping employees stay safe and healthy during the COVID-19 pandemic. S&T urges all students, faculty and staff to be fully vaccinated prior to the beginning of the Fall 2021 semester. Information about vaccine resources and upcoming clinics on campus is provided below.
Some vaccines require two doses administered 21 days apart. Additionally, it takes two weeks (14 days) after the final dose of a COVID-19 vaccine for a person to be considered fully vaccinated. For example, if you plan to be fully vaccinated by Miner Move-In on Monday, Aug. 16, then you will need to receive your final COVID-19 vaccine dose by Monday, Aug. 2.
In partnership with Phelps Health, Missouri S&T will host two clinics to administer the first dose of the Pfizer vaccine. If you have already received your first dose of the Pfizer vaccine 21 to 28 days before these clinics, you can receive your second dose at either of these clinics.
Missouri S&T will accept the vaccines listed below with emergency use authorization by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) or the World Health Organization (WHO).
