March 31, 2020 – Message from Chancellor: S&T prepared for Rolla’s stay-at-home ordinance

The Rolla City Council passed a stay-at-home ordinance on March 30 to help slow the spread of COVID-19 in the community. This ordinance goes into effect at 8 a.m. Monday, April 6, and will remain in effect through Monday, May 11.

“Because of our own measures already in place at Missouri S&T to slow the spread of COVID-19, this ordinance will not have a substantial impact on our current operations,” says Chancellor Mo Dehghani is a message to the campus community on March 31.

March 26, 2020 – Join Chancellor Dehghani for April 2 online town hall

Dr. Mo Dehghani, Missouri S&T chancellor, invites the campus community to join him at 10 a.m. Thursday, April 2, for a virtual town hall meeting. You may join the virtual meeting through the following Zoom link: umsystem.zoom.us/j/995364167.

Updates

  • All courses will be online for the remainder of the semester, effective Monday, March 16. View tips on teaching and working remotely. The week of March 16-20 was a soft launch without penalties for missed connections or assignments.
  • Employees are working remotely unless instructed otherwise by their supervisors. At this time, employees should expect to report back to their work site on Monday, April 13
  • University-related travel, both international and domestic, is suspended, effective immediately and until further notice.
  • Events or gatherings of more than 10 people scheduled to take place at S&T are canceled through April 30.
